“I don’t want to make heaven if it’s where Oyedepo, Adeboye will go, I want to be where Fela is” – Lady Says

A Nigerian lady, Angela Nwosu, has taken to her social media page to say that she does not want to make if it is where the likes of Adeboye, Kumuyi, Oyedepo and others will go to after death.

According to her, heaven where she believes Adeboye, Kumuyi and other religious leaders will go, will be a boring place.

Read her post below.

I don’t want to make heaven!

If heaven is where Pastor Adeboye, Kumuyi, David Oyedepo and all other religious leaders and people will go to after death, then I reject it with every fibre of my being. Heaven will sure be a very boring and unbearable place to be in, full of fake people and extortionists and heartless people. I want to be where Fela is and would be happy to see Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, etc, join me there.

The thing about me is I don’t ever want to be like you. You don’t believe that you can live the way that I do. Seriously, you act like life’s a recital from the bible and once you reach the end you won’t know where the time goes. I’m living through my flows so please enjoy the show. No Jesus above tells me how to live my life, I do this for me, am not ashamed, I do not hide. I already have a God that turns me on with reckless abandon. He’s the God that I see and believe in and his name is Emeka

So Save your prayers for your mothers, I’m doing fine, the last thing on my mind is the afterlife. The time is now, I live in the moment. I only think with logic, so keep your bleeping preaching, pity and emotions. I can never be broken even if I’m lost in the ocean, I still won’t give a Bleep where I’m supposedly going, ighotago? For real, I don’t want to spend eternity with any of you. Death is the only thing promised to us at birth. Save your ‘may God have mercy on you’ for your sisters that are doing abortions, for your brothers raping kids, for small girls with big God knacking other women’s husbands, for your pastors and your village people

There’s no time to waste once you enter this World, If you ask me, there is no afterlife and when I die, I will be satisfied with who I am and what I leave behind! Udo.

Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has opened up to the real cause of her divorce with Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz.

Ugandan socialite Zari Hassan has opened up to the real cause of her divorce with Tanzanian musician Diamond Platnumz.

In a tell-it-all interview with BBC Swahili, the socialite narrated how the the numerous videos of Diamond getting ‘cozy’ with his former girlfriend Wema Sepetu had caused their break-up.

Zari said she stopped communicating with Diamond three weeks before she announced to the world her break-up on Valentine’s Day.

This was after she had confronted Diamond about the videos with Wema Sepetu but got unsatisfactory answers.

“We were trying to move on from the Baby Mama scandal (with model Hamisa Mobetto) but things like him getting cozy with ex-girlfriends in public, things that degrade me and make me be disrespected by my children was the end,” Zari told BBC.

Diamond and Wema were filmed getting all touchy during a Wasafi Classic Label event in Tanzania, sparking rumors of a possible re-union.

Wema has since denied claims of a reigniting romance with her ex-boyfriend.

“Honestly speaking when the videos with his ex-girlfriend came up I tried asking him about it immediately the videos came up but he started giving too many explanations and that was when I decided to take time off and we stopped communicating for three weeks before I made my decision on Valentine’s Day,” Zari explained.

Asked if she would forgive Diamond if he came crawling to South Africa as he had insinuated during the baby mama scandal, she said: “Right now the trust has been broken I don’t think it’s possible to be together again.”

Zari added that she has yet to hear from Diamond since she announced the break up and couldn’t tell what he was thinking or planning to do.

“I haven’t communicated with anyone, I have decided to be away and be in a proper mental situation not being emotional and that is why I have kept off,” Zari said.

She added that Tiffa and Nillan are still his children and she doesn’t plan to keep them away from their father.

Diamond has however not visited nor talked to his children since the break-up.

“If he wants to support his children he can do that but if he doesn’t want to its still okay. I can manage on my own,” Zari said.

She said that she will be out of the dating scene for a while.

Women make waves at UK Film Awards as ‘Three Billboards’ wins big

The ferocious female-led tragi-comedy “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri” was the big winner at the British Academy Film Awards in London, where women demanding an end to harassment, abuse and inequality dominated the ceremony.

Martin McDonagh’s film about a bereaved mother seeking justice won five trophies Sunday including best film, outstanding British film and best actress, for Frances McDormand.

Producer Graham Broadbent said the movie is “the story of a woman taking on the establishment and status quo.”

“It seems more timely now than we could ever have imagined,” he said.

Writer-director McDonagh said it was fitting, in the year of the “Time’s Up” campaign against sexual harassment, that “Three Billboards” is “a film about a woman who refuses to take any s(asterisk)(asterisk)(asterisk) anymore.”

“Our film is a hopeful one in lots of ways, but it’s also an angry one,” McDonagh said. “As we’ve seen this year, sometimes anger is the only way to get people to listen and to change.”

McDonagh won the original screenplay prize for “Three Billboards,” which also netted Sam Rockwell the supporting actor trophy. Allison Janney was named best supporting actress for playing ice skater Tonya Harding’s domineering mother in “I, Tonya.”

Guillermo del Toro won the directing prize for the monster fantasy “The Shape of Water,” which also took trophies for music and production design.

Gary Oldman, the favorite among bookies, won the best actor prize for playing wartime British Prime Minister Winston Churchill in “Darkest Hour.”

The British prizes, known as BAFTAs, are considered a key indicator of likely success at Hollywood’s Oscars in two weeks’ time.

The film awards season in the United States and elsewhere has been overshadowed by the allegations of sexual harassment and abuse leveled at scores of entertainment figures since women began coming forward to accuse Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein last year.

London’s Old Vic Theatre has been rocked by allegations against former artistic director Kevin Spacey. London police are also investigating nine claims of sexual assault by Weinstein.

The red carpet and the auditorium at London’s Royal Albert Hall were a sea of black, as actresses such as Lupita Nyong’o, Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence and Margot Robbie eschewed color as a statement against sexual misconduct and gender inequality.

Several actresses brought feminist activists as guests, and men showed solidarity with “Time’s Up” lapel pins.

McDormand opted to wear black and red rather than all black, and noted: “I have a little trouble with compliance.”

“But I want you to know that I stand in full solidarity with my sisters tonight in black,” she said.

On the red carpet, actress Andrea Riseborough, who brought U.K. Black Pride founder Phyll Opoku-Gyimah as her guest, said she also hoped the film industry was on the road to greater equality and diversity.

“It’s more likely we’ll see an alien onscreen than we’ll see an Asian woman at the moment, which is disgraceful,” Riseborough said.

Prince William — the British Academy’s president — and the Duchess of Cambridge were guests of honor at Sunday’s ceremony, hosted by “Absolutely Fabulous” star Joanna Lumley. Kate acknowledged the evening’s muted fashion by wearing a dark green Jenny Packham dress with black belt.

The call to wear black put Kate in a delicate position, because the royal family is careful to avoid political statements.

Ahead of the ceremony, almost 200 British women in entertainment called Sunday for an international movement to end sexual misconduct.

Kate Winslet, Emma Thompson, Naomie Harris, Emma Watson and Gemma Arterton were among signatories to a letter saying that 2018 should be “the year that time was up on sexual harassment and abuse.”

The stars called for an end to impunity for abusers and announced a fund to support women and men battling workplace abuse, modeled on the “Time’s Up” movement in the U.S. Former “Harry Potter” star Watson has given the fund 1 million pounds ($1.4 million), according to its page on the Go Fund Me website.

The BAFTA ceremony honored several generations of talent. Filmmaker James Ivory, 89, took the adapted screenplay prize for “Call Me By Your Name.”

The 80-year-old director Ridley Scott, whose films include “Blade Runner,” ”Alien,” ”Thelma and Louise” and “Gladiator,” received the academy’s highest honor, the BAFTA Fellowship.

Daniel Kaluuya, the 28-year-old British star of “Get Out,” won the rising star award and made a plea for public arts funding, which helped him get his start. Kaluuya, who is also Oscar-nominated, joked that success to him meant taking Ubers rather than the subway.

“I get that Prius everywhere,” he said.

The one-minute clip, watched over 60,00 times on Facebook by Tuesday morning, features seven dancers from creator Rudi Smit’s dance crew, Untimitive, moving in perfect sequence on the plaza at the Cape Town Civic Centre.

Dressed in colourful loose-fitting button shirts, the group glides across the promenade as the camera swirls to a remix of the hit single Cartier, by Dutch artist Dopebwoy.

Speaking to News24 from Spain, 25-year-old Smit said the first time he heard the song he got a mental picture of the dance routine.

“I love the expression of music, when I listen to music I can see a vision. When a song comes up only I can see the vision, no-one else – and I saw the vision here,” a proud Smit said.

Smit, who has released several similar videos over the past year with close to a million views, says he wanted to get South Africans in the holiday mood with the video.

“I haven’t made a video in a while and wanted it to feel summery and fun – from the start, the video is styled colourfully and it’s a fun song.”

‘On another level’

On Facebook, users from as far as the Netherlands praised Smit for using a Dutch song creatively in a South African setting.

“You have to start somewhere. Build yourself, set goals and push yourself beyond your expectations – you’ll see how many awesome opportunities lie ahead.”

And for 2018? Smit says he looks forward to creating more content that will inspire.

“I love what I do; I love the music, because when we listen to music we see different things, it is a journey like that – it never gets boring at all,” Smit said.

Keyamo speaks on PSquare breakup, reveals more details

Following the bad blood between the Okoye brothers hit social media, rumors have been circulating like wildfire. Many media outlets have been speculating about the real reason the brothers dissolved their group P-Square.

Some have pointed to greed and money. While others have placed the blame on the brothers’ wives interfering and causing a rift between them. Others are speculating that the eldest brother and manager, Jude Okoye, is responsible for the rift amongst the brothers.

The group’s attorney, Festus Keyamo (SAN), issued a press statement on the group’s split and the brothers’ ongoing feud after a video surfaced from Linda Ikeji’s Blog showing the brothers engaging in a physical altercation.

“Firstly, while it is obvious that none of these materials were released from our Chambers, we are thoroughly saddened and embarrassed by these developments. As their close friends and lawyers over many years, we have done our very best to manage their differences over time and very prominent personalities have been invited in the past to intervene,” the statement said.

“We are well aware that we have a duty to keep the details of their disagreements confidential, so we shall say nothing here on the issues at stake. But since the disagreement is now in the public domain, and our name has been dragged into the fray, we wish to appeal to members of the public to refrain from jumping into uninformed conclusions about this feud.”

Mr. Keyamo says he is hopeful that the brothers will reconcile their differences and P Square will reconvene.

Read the full press statement below.

Our attention has been drawn to the on-going feud between the P Square brothers in online, print and electronic media. We have also been inundated with calls from the media to authenticate the correspondence Peter Okoye sent to our office, indicating his intention to terminate the contract between the brothers for various reasons and the online video showing a purported scuffle between the brothers in our Chambers.

Firstly, while it is obvious that none of these materials were released from our Chambers, we are thoroughly saddened and embarrassed by these developments. As their close friends and lawyers over many years, we have done our very best to manage their differences over time and very prominent personalities have been invited in the past to intervene.

We are well aware that we have a duty to keep the details of their disagreements confidential, so we shall say nothing here on the issues at stake. But since the disagreement is now in the public domain, and our name has been dragged into the fray, we wish to appeal to members of the public to refrain from jumping into uninformed conclusions about this feud.

None of these talented brothers are at fault. None of them is also wholly justified and correct in their individual positions. We also wish to state categorically that, contrary to widely held opinions, none of their wives are at fault. In fact, the wives have kept their respectable and dignified distances from all the issues involved. THEY HAVE NEVER INTERFERED in any way.

We also want to state that whilst all the three brothers may have genuine grievances, nobody’s life is at risk. All the various incidents that happened in our Chambers (some as late at 12 midnight and 2 am and one of which was captured in the online video) arose out of various meetings that were genuine attempts at resolving their differences. Whatever was said by all of them that were provocative were done in the heat of passion, emotion, and anger. In fact, the incident in the video circulating online happened sometime around May 2016. After all those arguments, we all still sat down and signed agreements and we were all happy.

So, we appeal to everyone to please grant the Okoye family the privacy, prayers, and support that they need at these trying times. I have also appealed to all of them not to grant further interviews at this point so as not to escalate the issues further. Whatever is going on is the usual siblings’ rivalry experienced in most families. It is nothing unusual.

We are of the strong opinion that the brothers would eventually put away their differences and come back stronger.

Thank you.

Yours most trusted,

Head of Chambers

PSquare finally separate as fight goes out of hands

Bloomgist can confirm that Peter and His twin brother Paul who together known as PSquare has separated and go on solo.

This is coming days after a heated fight between the twin brothers on instagram, making it obvious to both party’s fans that it is time the two brothers go their separate ways.

In his termination letter, Peter revealed the main reason he decided to terminate his partnership with his twin brother Paul.

This development is bringing it to the second time the two brothers are pathing ways after weeks of social media fight.

Psquare fighting again, Paul cancels their US tour | Fans react with anger

Rumours of a fight between the music duo of Paul and Peter Okoye known as Psquare have thickened as the pop stars have cancelled their American tour scheduled for September.

In recent weeks, there have been reports that the duo are currently fighting and fans may soon be served the news of their split for the second time.

The Okoye brothers had gone their separate ways in 2014, after reportedly engaging in a physical fight.

They had disagreed on a number of issues, including if their elder brother, Jude Okoye should remain their manager.

They later united and dropped some hits for fans who had pleaded for them not to go solo.

What happened:

Few days ago, Peter Okoye

took to his Instagram page, where he wrote;

“If it makes you Happy, no one else’s opinion should Matter. #LiveLifeHappy #WordsOfHappiness #KoolestDude   #MrP.”

Followers immediately questioned why he was using the hash tag ‘Mr P’, stating that he only uses it when he is fighting with his brother.

Paul, two days later took to Instagram to issue a warning to someone.

He wrote, “Back to naija don’t take my silence for granted…. only a woman can come where brothers are working in peace and destroy it      #youknowyourself …. try me this time … I swear Nyash go open   you will know that blood is thicker and stronger than juju…”
